The United℠ Business Card is offering an elevated welcome bonus worth up to 150,000 miles.
After spending $5,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of account opening, you will be eligible to earn 75,000 bonus miles. Additional 75,000 miles can be earned after spending $20,000 over the first 6 months.
The card comes with great benefits such as a free first checked baggage and priority boarding.
Insider’s guide to the top airline credit cards.

United Airlines flyers have many options when it comes to co-branded credit cards. Chase offers six United credit card options, from a non-annual-fee version up to premium cards with United Club access at airport lounges.

For small-business owners, the United℠ Business Card is an excellent pick. It costs only $99, making it a great choice for frequent and occasional flyers. It now offers a massive bonus: 75,000 bonus points after spending $5,000 in the first three months of account opening, and an additional 75,000 after spending $20,000 in the first six months.

The bonus requires you to spend a lot, but it is possible to manage it. 150,000 miles will earn you $1,950 in flight, based on Insider’s valuation of 1.3 cents per United Mile.

United miles are valuable even if the airline is not your primary carrier. You don’t have any obligation to redeem them for United flights. United miles can also be used for award flights on Star Alliance or non-alliance partners such as Lufthansa, Air Canada, and Aer Lingus.

Keep in mind three other United co-branded cards — the United℠ Explorer Card, United Gateway℠ Card, and United Club℠ Infinite Card — are also offering increased sign-up bonuses for a limited time, so be sure to compare these offers to see which is the best deal for you.

We are focusing on the perks and rewards that each card offers. If you have to pay interest or late fees, these cards will not be worth the cost. When you use a credit card, you must pay your balance in full each monthly, make timely payments, limit your spending, and only pay what you can afford.

If you’re working toward elite status with United, the United℠ Business Card can give you a boost toward your goal. Cardholders get 500 Premier QualifyingPoints (PQP), which can be up to 1,000 per calendar year, for every $12,000 spent on purchases made with the card.

On top of United-specific perks, the United℠ Business Card comes with a broad array of purchase and travel protections, including primary car rental insurance (when renting for business purposes), baggage delay insurance, lost luggage reimbursement, trip cancellation/interruption insurance, trip delay reimbursement, purchase protection, and extended warranty.

How to use United Miles

If you meet all the spending requirements to earn the welcome bonus, you will receive 150,000 United miles.

United no longer has an award chart and has switched to dynamic pricing. Domestic award flights in economy class can be booked for between 5,000 and 30,000 miles. Flights to other regions will cost more. Pricing depends on the route, award availability and time of year.

A little-known benefit of all United credit card is the increased availability of awards. A United card will allow you to see more saver award seats than the public. This is great if you’re looking to book multiple award flights and can save you tons of miles.

150,000 United Miles should be sufficient to fly at least two roundtrip economy award flights to Europe and Asia. You can also fly multiple round trips within North America with the saver level.

Which United credit cards is right for me?
