It looks like the hype didn’t stop at Top Gun: Maverick. We’re now getting an early holiday treat with yet another movie involving hot fighter pilots (and, thankfully, Glen Powell).

Devotion is a biographical drama that tells the true story of elite fighter pilots Jesse Brown (Jonathan Majors) and Tom Hudner (Powell) as they become the “Navy’s most celebrated wingmen” during the Korean War, according to the film’s logline. It also stars Joe Jonas and Daren Kagasoff.

Here’s everything we know about how, when, and where you can watch Devotion:

WHERE TO WATCH DEVOTION:

As of now, the only way to watch Devotion is to head out to a movie theater when it premieres on Wednesday, Nov. 23. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait for it to become available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Vudu, Amazon, YouTube or Apple, or become available to stream on Netflix. Read on for more information.

WHEN WILL DEVOTION BE ON NETFLIX?

Good news, Netflix subscribers! Thanks to a deal Netflix inked with Sony Pictures that gives the streamer U.S. rights to all the company’s theatrical films starting in 2022, you will be able to watch Devotion right from your account.

While a streaming release date has not yet been announced, we can make an estimate based on another recent Sony film. Where the Crawdads Sing was released in theaters on July 15, 2022, before it came to Netflix on Nov. 12 — around four months after it originally came out. If Devotion follows the same pattern, we could be watching from the comfort of our homes by late March 2023.

WILL DEVOTION BE ON HBO MAX?

No, Devotion will not be on HBO Max since it’s not a Warner Bros. movie. Last year, the company released its films in theaters and on the streamer the same day. However, they now have a 45-day window between theatrical and streaming releases.
