Barr recalls that “She’s lost her it,” Bartiromo said of the incident, which he denied via a spokesperson.

According to Jonathan Karl’s new book, the former Attorney General Bill Barr claimed that Maria Bartiromo (Fox News host) called him to complain that the Justice Department wasn’t doing enough to investigate President Donald Trump’s voter-fraud claims.

Barr spoke of Bartiromo to her author, saying that she called her up and was screaming. “I yelled at her. She’s lost it.”

Karl’s forthcoming book, “Betrayal – The Final Act Of the Trump Show,” will feature the conversation. It is due out Tuesday. Insider was able to obtain an early copy.

Bartiromo, who was not available to speak on behalf of Karl’s book, denied Barr Barr’s account in an interview with Insider.

“Maria Bartiromo refuted these allegations noting it wasn’t Barr who was aggressive, yelling or cursing during the phone call,” Bartiromo’s spokesperson said in an e-mail, similar to the statement made to Karl by Fox News for the book.

Bartiromo was a standout in the aftermath of the 2020 election. She hosted Fox News and Fox Business Network shows that amplified baseless voter fraud claims. They also featured guests like Sidney Powell (ex-Trump attorney) who attempted to challenge the election results. Multiple conspiracy theories of widespread voter corruption in the 2020 election were repeatedly rejected by election officials.

Despite promising major revelations Powell’s election fraud claims were thoroughly disproven and she is now facing a $4 billion defamation suit from election-tech companies. Fox News has sought to dismiss a similar lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems.

Fox News projected Joe Biden as being the 2020 election winner on November 7, last year. Trump was reportedly furious at Fox News for declaring Biden had won Arizona, a key swing State that Trump won in 2016. Trump continues to propagandize falsehoods about his election victory.
