Maybe “Ham-let” would have been more apropos.

“Ted Lasso” star Brett Goldstein is pitching Miss Piggy and himself to star in a Muppets-themed movie adaptation of Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice,” reports Entertainment Weekly.

Goldstein floated the idea of another Muppets remake while celebrating the 30th anniversary of the iconic “The Muppet Christmas Carol” alongside Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo and Robin last week.

“You’ve done ‘Muppet Christmas Carol.’ You’ve done ‘Muppet Treasure Island.’ You’ve done ‘Muppet Wizard of Oz,’” Goldstein said. “Can I please pitch that we make ‘Muppets Pride and Prejudice’?”

The “Thor: Love and Thunder” actor seemed to successfully lasso Miss Piggy into playing the novel’s lead, Elizabeth Bennet, while he offered to play Mr. Darcy.

“I’d love to do that,” she enthused. “Brett, you’ve got pull in this town. Can you get ‘Pride and Prejudice and Piggy’ greenlit?”

Added Gonzo: “I think you’ve got pull, but Piggy has push,” referring to Her Highness’ famously quick temper.

The Post reached out to Goldstein for comment.

The round-table discussion moved to other potential remakes, such as “Muppet Sunset Boulevard” with Miss Piggy as Norma Desmond.

Kermit proposed to produce both films if they got clearance.

“There is a bit where Darcy swims in a lake, so maybe you can be in that bit,” Goldstein told Robin.

“Oh, I’m good at swimming,” Robin gushed.
