The TutHill compound in Maine, which is a 19th century village, is being sold by the TutHill family for $5.5 million.

TutHill was created originally by Kenneth Tuttle, a local artist who died in 2002.

The 55-acre property contains nine residential homes, a chapel, multiple barns, and garages.

Anna Boucher, Tuttle’s daughter-in law and the listing agent for the property, stated that two of the buildings were moved to the compound by flatbed trucks.

The property also includes “a nine-bay garage, seven-bay garage, an 80×100 office/showroom/garage with plumbing and heating, another 50×60 heated garage with five 9ft. Zillow states that the property includes wide doors, a back storage area, and storage above.

Boucher, however, said to Insider that she hasn’t witnessed any supernatural experiences despite living on the property for years.

She claimed that Tuttle was infatuated with antique house architecture and that the village doubled for her passion and profit.

Boucher lives in the main home with Tuttle’s son Nathan and rents the rest of the buildings to tenants.

Tuttle began his career as a house-painting contractor, and then he started selling antiques and opened his own antique shop.

Boucher said to Insider that Boucher had a crazy idea in his head about creating an antique village.

According to the listing, TutHill was featured in Down East Magazine as well as People Magazine. Numerous commercial photoshoots were also held at the compound.
